Mixed Level Belly Dance with Valentina
This class will begin with a stretch sequence and warm-up / conditioning to target the specific muscles used for belly dancing. Each week will focus on a specific area of movement: undulations, figure 8's, circles, squares, upper body / lower body, arm and wrist work, horizontal plane vs. vertical plane movements, footwork, turns, shimmies and soft vs. sharp accents. We'll also delve into level and speed changes. Across the floor exercises, short combos/choreos and free-form dancing exercise with a different theme each week.
